Rare Blue EAPG Let Us Have Peace U.S. Grant Gillander Memorial Plate 1885 Description Made by Gillinder & Sons to commemorate the death of Ulysses S Grant. The peace plates are EAPG pressed glass using the maple leaf design around the rim of the plates. Around the outer rim of the plate are the words: "Let Us Have Peace - U.S. Grant". A portrait of Grant is in the center of the plate and the words: "Born April 27, 1822 Died July 23, 1885". This was Manufactured by Gillinder & Sons; Greensburg, PA circa 1885. Visible small bubbles.
