Description: ANTIQUE POTTERY SHARD MOSAIC ARTIST EASEL COMMEMORATIVE KING EDWARD & QUEEN MARY Description Up for your consideration is an unusual wooden artists easel with applied mosaic pottery. It commemorates the coronation between King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra that took place in 1902. Included are two small portrait fragments of the Royals. The mosaic pottery is mainly blue and white transfer-ware together with some plain and coloured pieces. The mosaic is applied on wood and has also had a dark enamel added between the pieces. A few mosaic fragments replaced. A few mosaic fragments lacking. Small faults throughout etc. The easel is supported in position with a piece of rope. It has much general wear throughout.
