Description: Offered is this beautiful antique French majolica plate. We found this in the east of France and believe this may have been made by the Sarreguemines majolica factory in the 1800's. It features five green and brown leaves on a basket weave background. The colors are Golden Caramel, Brown and Green. This is a fine example of early majolica. It is marked as seen in photo. It measures 7.75 inches in diameter. It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. It has 3 stilt marks on the back. Add this to your personal collection, Home Decor or give as a fabulous antique gift.
