Description: Very nice small size Lancaster, Pennsylvania redware apple butter crock in great all original patina & condition. This is a very nice small example, it is well formed with a top lip and a dark brown glaze. The condition is rather good with only minor ruffness around the top and bottom from normal use over the last 150 years, This early redware crock was probably made around 1850. It has a very smooth exterior surface & mellow color. The small crock is about 4 1/4" high. You will not be disappointed with this nice small size redware apple butter crock.
