This is unused and was probably meant to be made up into a dress. The design has flowers worked in Peking Stitch and has meandering vines , florals and leaves throuhgout the cotton net. The panel is more a ecru color but as most lace was dipped into tea infusions in those days, this combined with hot water and powdered detergent will bring it up much lighter…or white if desired. As it was never used it is in very good strong condition, a few tiny openings and some darker age related storage spots that just need to be laundered.
