Description: Antique wooden Hood Rubbers shoe crate. Originally came out of a general store located in Springfield, Massachusetts. The company made rubbers, boots, and athletic footwear. They were among the first pioneers in the sneaker industry in the late 1920s. The box has great patina and of course it has some age cracks and wear and tear.
