Description: Antique German Sterling Silver Vibrant Enamel & Marcasite Butterfly Pin. This vibrant colored German sterling silver pin measures approximately 1 inch long x 3/4 inch wide. The wings and body of the butterfly are made up of vibrant enamel in blue, light golden brown, yellow, green and teal. All the enamel is in excellent condition! The center of the body and tips of the wings are accented with marcasite stones to give this pin a little sparkle. The face of the butterfly is decorated with two red stones as eyes. The tops of the glass stones have small chips that can only be seen under 10x's magnification. The bottom of the pin is stamped "Germany". The clasp opens, closes and secures nicely. 3.8 grams. This antique piece is in overall great condition.
