Description: Antique circa 1890s-1900 French mantel clock with pair of matching urns garniture set, neoclassical style, pink, gray and white mottled marble, with bronze mountings, the clock has bow and quiver motif on top, with garland swag and rosettes on the front and tassels on the side, the front of the base has a leafy bowknot, the urns have leafy handles, pineapple finials, chain and tassel swags, beaded border, one of the urns has its leafy bowknot on the front of the base, the clock has enameled dial, with Arabic numbers, pink rose swags, two keyholes, filigree hands, marked FRANCE underneath the 6, the clock measures 13-1/2" high to top of finial, the base 8-1/8" x 4", the urns measure .8-1/4" high x 6-1/4" wide x 4-3/4", all pieces marked FRANCE on the bottom of the marble bases, see close up photos, CONDITION: as is, we don't have a key, consequently don't know if the clock movement works or is missing parts, the tassels on one side need to be twisted together to match the other side, overall time darkening to the finish, needs a gentle cleaning, one urn needs to have the chain with tassel reattached to the marble urn, this one also missing its leafy bowknot plaque on the front, there are just holes, the other urn is missing its tassel and the chains are just hanging, the top marble piece has an old C shaped crack that goes from one side to the other, also has a piece of marble missing on the base, lower left corner, the urns need to be tightened as the parts wiggle, please look at all the photos carefully, sold as is, as found, from a local estate.
