Description: Charming old handmade 19th-century terracotta pots, absolutely full of character. Originating from the Landes region of south-west France, they were used to harvest the resin tapped from the pine trees. With a beautifully aged patina, they also smell wonderful due to the residue of crystallised pine resin still inside. These antique clay pots would make wonderful little storage pots or could be used as decorative pot holders for herbs or flowers. The measurements obviously vary a little between each, but they are roughly 12cm (just under 5) high and 14cm (5 1/2) in diameter at the top, tapering to 7cm (2 3/4") at the bottom. These are very old pots, and the condition and look is as shown. Some pots have more resin than others. i leave all the other resin drips pretty much intact. The price is for 1 pot
