Description: Store Item: Antique Early American Chippendale Tall Case Grandfather Clock c 1800 Description: Clock appears to be made in Pennsylvania, but I am not sure. Case made from walnut. Clock features two carved rosettes with three urn shaped finials on the top of the hood, with columns running on each side of the hood. The dial features painted florals with butterflies designs in each corner with date dial and moon phase and sweep second hand. Case features shaped door with carved sun rise, resting on bracket feet. Comes with pendulum, two weights and crank winder. Condition Report: Clock has not been tested, we do not guarantee the working condition of clocks and highly recommend having a professional service the clock and set up the clock before usage. Case has scuffs, chips scratches, wear and signs of refinishing as expected with age and usage, but shows beautifully. Pendulum handle needs replaced.
