Description: Pair of antique Victorian style cast iron door plates Plates have had all paint remove Some surface rust has been left behind especially on the back of the plates to show their age Plates are 8 3/4 inches tall by 2 1/8 inches wide Distance between the center of the knob hole and the center of the key hole is about 2 3/16th inches Distance between the 2 screw holes is 4 inches There are some slight casting defects around the hole where the knob inserts This shouldn’t affect alignment or function because the mortise will hold the knob and spindle in place Castings are marked “408”
