Description: Up sale is a neat sign / menu board for a blacksmith. Done all in pencil and one a rough cut piece of wood that they likely had laying around. Its more a product list than a sign. Something that they had inside and not outside. I got this from a tennessee dealer but they original found it in the "Midwest." Sadly I have no other history than that. Looks early 20th century (1900-1940s). Could be late 1800s though. Condition is nice because it was inside. Back is blank. Not signed with a date, name or location. 16 inches tall. 13 and 3/4 inches wide. See can for scale. Board is a little less than 7/8 inches thick. I like it as much as folk art or outsider art as a sign myself. Works in a primitive or modern setting. Be cool for a mancave or workshop or bar. Condition: Nice condition. All original. No touch ups or repairs. All original surface. All original writing in pencil. Rough cut wood. See photos and video to determine condition.
