This Backstamp was used exclusively by Bawo & Dotter who decorated blank wares at Fischer, Czech Republic and Limoges 1883-1914. The base is also impressed with "TK 47 44" The gorgeous plate boasts a deep green background with heavy gold gadrooned rim. Central Floral Bouquets in the Dresden style with various-shaped cartouches around the band, all filled with beautiful flower bouquets and lots of intricate florentine gold details around all. Size: 9" Diameter Condition: The stunning plates displays wear of the gold rim, an inconspicuous chip on the rim and a faint spider hairline in the middle of the plate which is more visible on the rear. I placed a piece of clear tape over it on the back to help support the fracture. The defects would not compromise the beauty of this plate when used for display either on the wall or on an easel.
