Description: This antique painting is believed to be from the late 1800's done at an art school possibly at the same time as artist such as Pascal Jules-gorges and Antonietta Brandeis. This is believed due to both artist having similar examples of the same women being painted. There is a record of Antonietta Brandeis titled "young woman waiting by the sea" from 1887. The example of Pascal Jules-gorges was titled "Bohemian Woman. The canvas shows signs of age and could use a cleaning. The piece appears to be signed on the lower left "Leona" and I have done my best to picture the signature. Review all pictures and note most reasonable offers will be considered. The painting measures approximately 15.5 inches in length and 34 inches in height.
