Dial - white enamel hand painted with black Ottoman/Turkish numerals and signed in Arabic script and adorned with floral garland, fancy pierced and gilt hands, subsidiary seconds dial. Full hunter case made of low-grade silver engraved to front and back with guilloche pattern and scrolls. The front cover engraved on the center with vacant cartouche. The interior of the front and the back cover bearing the Starr encircled “Montre Brevetee” silver hallmarks and with registration numbers “36 and “3048”. The front and back covers open when the button on the stem is depressed. All hinges are in very good condition and the covers open and close as they should. Jeweled movement is gold washed and engraved “Montre Brevetee”. CONDITION: Showing age and usage, minor hairline cracks in enameled dial. The key to wind up the watch is missing. Since the watch has no key to wind up, we do not know if this watch works. The front and back covers are open where the button on the stem is depressed. However, it is very tight and not working properly, probably held up by old oil and dirt most likely needs cleaning and lubricating.
