Description: The moc-toe Alden Indy is an iconic boot made by one of the last true American shoe companies. The hightop work boot is now known simply as the Indy after its relationship with Harrison Ford's wardrobe in the Indiana Jones films. The Alden 401 is a black version of the classic Indy 405, and these particular boots are size 11 B/D and come with the same size large model of cedar shoe tree that Alden re-brands as their own (Rochester). Remember that the last Alden uses runs around half a size large, so my guess is that these wear somewhere near a normal shoe's size 11.5. Please have your foot width and length measured if you're unsure whether these will fit. Even better if you have an Alden dealer near you to measure. (Note, these boots not fitting will not be a valid reason for return.) These boots are well loved and have a few imperfections from wear (see the pictures for details), but externally they're still striking. They come with the flat waxed laces that make threading and tying the boots super smooth. There are a few worn threads missing, especially down on the front bottom corners of the quarters, and one worn spot on one sole, so please note those in the pictures. But these classics still have a lot of life in them. Any other questions or condition issues, please don't hesitate to ask!
