An onion skill overlay with red marker created the shading on the printed page. Art is dated "7-28-66", so it was created 16 years before publishing. Al Jaffee is the creator of the Mad Fold-in and is one of the most beloved of Mad Magazine artists. With 65 years at Mad Magazine, he is also the longest running contributor.
