They use multidisc Viva Elite or similar cases to present your collection in a meaningful, unified way that reduces greatly the amount of shelving needed. Specifics for this collection: This collection presents the Academy Award (Oscar) winning major films from each year since the award's inception. Each year's case includes information about the awards presentation that year, including date, host(s), and venue. Then, it lists the major award winners for that year, namely, the best picture award, the best director award, the best actor/actress award, the best supporting actor/actress award, and the writing awards. Many of these have been adjusted over time and the supporting awards didn't originally exist, so each year's case includes the award variations of that year, using the name of the categories for that year. In the case itself are exactly the number of standard disc holders that are needed to collect that year's winners, excluding films that won multiple awards in that year--no reason to collect multiple copies of the same movie. Each case has room for between 2 and 8 Blu-rays and/or DVDs, depending on that year's winners. Commemorate a birthday, wedding day, or other special day with a film lover in your life. You can add the films you have already collected and add the rest as you acquire them. Pictured are a sampling of the artwork, as eBay does not allow me to upload all years.
