Offered for sale is a set of eight (8) color lobby cards issued for the 1968 United States re-release of the motion picture A LONESOME STREET starring Randolph Scott, Angela Lansbury, Warner Anderson and others. Description: -Motion Picture: A Lonesome Street (68/317); originally released in 1955.-Studio: Columbia Pictures Corp. -Publication Date: 1968 -Dimensions: 11" tall by 14" wide. -Number of Lobby Cards: 8 (complete set) -Color/B&W: Color. -Language: English. -Description: This is a complete set of eight (8) lobby cards issued for the US re-release of A Lonesome Street, the classic western starring Randolph Scott and co-starring Angela Lansbury, Warner Anderson, Jan Parker, Wallace Ford, John Emery and others. Produced by Harry Joe Brown and directed by Joseph H. Lewis. Scott plays Marshal Calem Ware who tries to keep the peace while power-hungry villains and their hired gun try to stir things up. Angela Lansbury plays a dance hall girl who had a prior romance with the Marshal. Includes title card and seven movie scene cards. Cards are in color with 'frame' reverses (excepting one blank back card). Condition: -The lobby cards are in overall very good to fine condition with moderate age/usage wear, including soiling, tape residue, stains, scuffs and small edge/corner creases. Most have tack/staple holes to the margins (possibly just into image area). The card featuring an image of Scott walking away from the Marshal's Office has two holes punched in the left margin (this card also has a blank back and no "68/317" stamp; it may be an original 1955 card). Two cards have staining to the image areas (spilled liquid?). -Owned by an adult collector in a smoke free home.
