Description: 7 ANTIQUE CHARLES FIELD HAVILAND LIMOGES CFH/GDM FRANCE CHF902 5" FRUIT BOWLS Item Description You are buying a set of seven (7) authentic, antique Charles Field Haviland "CHF902" fruit bowls dating, approximately, from 1891. These elegant, scallop-rimmed, round, porcelain fruit bowls are embossed with filigreed detailing and decorated with tiny, pink wildflowers. The website, Replacements, identifies this pattern as "CHF902". The bottoms are labeled with a "CFH-GDM France" maker's mark, and six bowls are imprinted with a "Ch. Field Haviland Limoges" decorator's mark. The green "CFH-GDM" maker's mark stands for "Charles Field Haviland-Gerard, Dufraisseix & Morel" and dates the manufacture of these bowls to approximately 1891, coinciding with enactment of the McKinley Tariff Act and Mr. Morel's retirement from the company. Each bowl measures approximately 5 inches in diameter and 1 inch deep. These 130-year-old fruit bowls are in EXCELLENT condition. The colors are rich, and the details are distinct. The finish is lustrous. There are no chips, cracks, crazing, breaks or repairs. See the photos for further clarification. The items pictured are the items you will receive. These fruit bowls will be shipped as a trackable parcel.
