This is the MODEL 6360 LEVEL II Retention holster self locking system (SLS). It is mounted on the UBL (Universal Belt Loop) a stiff shank which provides a top draw straight cant a mid ride carry. This is a state of the art retention holster, with still offers a fast smooth draw when you need it. The STX finish is a kydex like shell, molded thermoplastic inside shell, super easy to clean and maintain, and tough as nails for a career of use. Lightweight and a nice compliment to Nylon gear or Basketweave leather. It features a FULL SUEDE LINED INTERIOR, no metal contacts your gun. A molded sight channel, a draw retention adjustment screw, and the patented SLS complete this well thought out holster. The SLS is a wide retention strap which is essentially a rotating hood. The hood can only be released by simultaneously pushing the release lever and then rotating the hood forward. This is part of the natural movement on the draw and is easily mastered. To reholster and secure your gun, just rotate the hood back into place and it self locks down. This holster becomes more secure when force is applied against the system...so you have a most secure holster on the market against a gun grab. AND YOU HAVE THE OPTIONAL ANTI GRAB SHIELD INSTALLED AS WELL TO MAKE A GRAB AT THE HOOD AND SAFETY DEVICES NEAR IMPOSSIBLE FOR A FOOLISH PERSON. The holster is not that slow on the draw either...with practice your thumb activates the hood release as you draw. It is worn on a SAM BROWNE style police duty belt 2.25" wide. The UBL easily slides over, then holds firm until you want it to move. The holster is open muzzle. This UBL is a LONGER DROP, 1.5" lower for those of us with longer arms, or who prefer the holster at arms length. A muzzle retention screw also can be adjusted to keep your gun firm in this molded Thermo laminate & leather holster. The holster features lightweight and super easy cleaning.
