Description: Six Coin Sacagawea Native American "Enhanced Uncirculated" & Reverse Proof Set from US Mint Coin & Currency Sets (2014, 2015, 2016 & 2019), and Special Mint Anniversary Sets (2017 Enhanced & 2018 Reverse Proof) This set represents the five enhanced uncirculated and one reverse proof released for the Native American Sacagawea Series. In this set are ALL of the enhanced uncirculated and reverse proof Sacagawea coins with those finishes released by the mint to date. All of these coins were special release coins and all had limited mintages which, besides being beautiful coins, also makes them relatively scarce and key coins in the series. In 2014 the mint issued a "Coin & Currency" set with limited mintage (50,000) that contained a special finish ("enhanced uncirculated") 2014 D Sacagawea Dollar. The mint did NOT advertise the special finish coin before they put the set on sale and, as a result along with the limited mintage, there was a market frenzy around that particular coin as it could only be sourced from a US mint "Coin & Currency" set. In subsequent years (2015, 2016 & 2019) the mint also issued Coin & Currency Sets with limited mintages (though more than the original 2014 50,000) that contained "enhanced uncirculated" Sacagawea Dollars that could only be sourced from the original mint Coin & Currency Sets. Over the four different Coin & Currency sets that the mint included a Sacagawea enhanced coin, each year the coins were issued with different mint marks. The 2014 coin is a Denver mint coin, 2015 a West Point coin (to date the ONLY "W" mint mark Sacagawea dollar the mint has issued), 2016 a San Francisco coin and in 2019 a Philadelphia coin. Having exhausted the four current mints after the 2019 Coin & Currency set the mint has not issued a coin a currency set with an enhanced Sacagawea dollar since. However, in addition to releasing special finish Sacagawea Dollars in the Coin & Currency sets from 2014-2016 & 2019, the mint also released both another enhanced uncirculated (with a matte finish) and, as well, a reverse proof (the only reverse proof of the series to date) as part of "Anniversary" sets in 2017 & 2018. In 2017 the mint issued the "225th Anniversary Enhanced Uncirculated Coin Set" celebrating 225 years for the US Mint. That set contained a 2017 "S" matte finish "enhanced uncirculated" Sacagawea Dollar. That set mintage was limited to 225,000 and the mint did not sell the 2017 S enhanced coins in any other sets. In 2018 the mint issued the "San Francisco Mint 2018 Silver Reverse Proof Set" which contained the first and only (to date) reverse proof in the Sacagawea series. That set mintage was limited to 200,000 and the mint did not sell the 2018 S reverse proof coins in any other sets. This set includes all four of the Coin & Currency "enhanced uncirculated" special issue Sacagawea Dollars as well as the 2017 & 2018 Anniversary set Sacagawea Dollars. These are the lowest mintage coins of a very popular series.
