Description: Description of item for sale: This very old (1600's-1700's) solid walnut panel is from France. We do not know its original use. It is beautifully hand carved and finished to a very pleasing medium/dark walnut color. As you would expect, it shows various chips, scratches and discolorations and it is somewhat eroded along one edge by old woodworm damage (see photos). Dimensions for each: 45" wide, 22" high and 1" thick.
