Description: Three primitive antique books, one with calico type fabric glued to the front and back cover. Book 1: The Cyr Readers by Grades Book 6. By Gunn and Company. There are signatures on the inside front cover from the Burlington Iowa area. Pages are yellowed with some water stains. Book is intact and binding is in good condition. Back cover has more writing and scribbles. Outside cover is worn from the age and the back cover has some pencil markings and black stains. Book 2: Book is titled Footloose by Beatrice Burton. Inside and back cover have no writings. Pages are yellow throughout and some dog eared pages some stains throughout and a small tear on one back page. Front cover and back cover have separated some from the binding although still intact but fragile. Outside cover along the spine does have some tears and minimal wear and stains on the outside cover as well. Book 3: book titled Europe a carpenters, geographical reader by Frank Carpenter. Pages in the back state this was property of LaSalle County Illinois school district. Pictures throughout the book and the pages are yellowed. There are some markings and stains throughout. Inside cover has separated some from its binding. Calico type fabric on the cover that is glued down in brown, tans and blacks and in fairly good condition, but with some fraying along the edges and staining. There is a patchwork on the front cover. These three books will make an excellent addition to any primitive shelf, adding the right element of history giving the perfect antique decor look.
