Description: 24" Antique Simon Halbig Doll ~ 1079 DEP This is a very pretty Simon Halbig 1079 Dep made for the French market. Her head has no damage cracks, hairlines, chips or repairs and her blue eyes sleep with original wax lids. There are earring holes with no chips to front or back and she wears little crystal beads. She has outstanding skin tone with no roughness or kiln spots. She has rosy cheeks and a sweet little open mouth with four upper teeth. She is marked, "S & H 1079 - 11/ DEP". This doll is on her chunky ball jointed body with one missing finger and some wear at the joints and neckline. Marked in red ink "Germany" on her lower back. She has been professionally restrung and she poses just fine.The doll has original cardboard pate and her factory human hair wig. I have not styled it just left her the way she was found. Her outfit consists of an antique cotton white eyelet dress, vintage full slip, antique pantalets, replaced nice quality shoes and socks and a hand crochet bonnet.
