This is the 1992 One Lira or Pound banknote issued by the Central Bank of Cyprus. The banknote brown, yellow and olive in color with the image of the mosaic of the nymph Acme to the right of the front. The front is in Turkish and Greek and also depicts the arms of Cyprus top center and the island of Cyprus bottom center. The front also shows one signature and the three-digit serial number (AL000176). The back is in English and depicts Bellapais Abbey ruins in the center. The note has a watermark depicting a horned ram (Mouflon) and has a solid security thread left of center. A great note to add to your collection.
