Description: This lot consists of a point-of-purchase 7"x9" store display and a lovely mint display stats card of Wayne Gretzky from the 1983-84 Edmonton Oilers Canadian Municipal Trade Dollars series. The trade dollars were stuck onto the Gretzky card with packing tape, and over the last thirty-five years the tape oxidized to a golden tarnish which would hamper the discerning collector who wants a truly mint one. We bought out the distributor's original stock of the display cards and never really paid any attention to the demand for "graded-ten" items, other than regular cards. Well, this is your chance to be the first to get one graded as gem mint. Of course I can't guarantee the opinion of your preferred grading system, but we have kept these in the back room for the last thirty-five years, and they are gem-mint. The store display is nr-mint, two-sided and measures 7"x9", and the Gretzky card measures approx. 3" x 9" with the stats on the back.
