Description: It is a three-string 1979 Raymond Epler dulcimer. Epler (1908-1990) was a premier dulcimer maker in South Charleston, West VIrginia. Here's a link to a Facebook biography of him: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10156444377185574.1073741886.199375165573&type=3&paipv=0&eav=Afbb2KTos6HE3xteoHno74ZW2UcVzvUHdy48g0q1cXg9bMn2OxZ8gowTB5L3vS_6u4c&_rdr 1979 Raymond Epler, Charleston, West Virginia is written in marker on the inside of the dulcimer. Epler is written on the front of the headstock too. Cosmetically, it looks very good. Hardly any scuffs or scrapes, if at all. Functionally, it works. Just put new D'Addario dulcimer strings on it. The pegs and peg holes are in good round. It sounds lovely. It comes with Len & Su Mac Eachron's "Play the Dulcimer by Ear and Other Easy Ways" instruction book. It comes in a chipboard case in fine condition. The handle, latches, and hinges all work.
