Description: 1967 SCHWINN FASTBACK STINGRAY 5-SPEED STIK RAMSHORN MUSCLE BIKE KRATE BLUE 66 Click Photos to Enlarge Description Here is a rare original July 1967 SCHWINN STINGRAY 20" BICYCLE! (GC Serial Number) This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! (the HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!) This bike has been in VERY long term storage and has not been owned by collectors. Be the first to get this bike back into the light and enjoy it! *The bike is in the original and very appealing Radiant Blue factory painted color. (A cool color you rarely see on this style bike) The bike has cool its real deal original Schwinn stamped Ramshorn Handlebars, 5-speed STICK SHIFTER with the "overload" tube in place, Schwinn sprocket, Schwinn derailleur, cool rear sissy bar, Schwinn Ramshorn Fastback specific rat trap pedals, and so much more ! I dont know where you would find another like it! It is awesome! The bike is an original 5-speed STICK SHIFT with operable hand controlled brakes. The bike shifts and brakes. (may need fine tune adjustment. Cables look newer) Has a cool ORIGINAL Schwinn seat with the rear Stingray tag and reflector tab and reflector. (shows age and wear) This one has Schwinn S5 front and rear wheels. The tires are SCHWINN and hold air. (check out the rear SLIK tire. OK for display or replace for riding) The chainguard is in its original paint and screen! (shows age as well but really cool being original) *This one recently came from LONG TERM STORAGE and has not been owned by collectors!... This one has not seen the light of day in decades. I LOVE unrestored "survivor" type bikes like this, that have not been discovered are VERY few and far between these days! *If you enjoy RIDING your bikes, the Fastback bikes are arguably the best for riding! (much smoother than the cool looking krate series of bikes) *Now is your chance to own one of the COOLEST bikes EVER MADE! Make someone in your life happy with this one. They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. If you check out Ebay, the selection on any 1960s Stingray bikes is very little. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. *NOTED FLAWS I got this one just like you see it. It would need a total resto from top to bottom for show or enjoy it in its unrestored "rat rod" type patina. I love the fact that this one still wears its original paint! (has chips scratches age surf rurst etc. ) I LOVE original paint! The chrome is shiny but is not perfect show quality. (All the chrome shows age. wheels etc. Would need resto for show) Both wheels have a slight wobble. (most every used bike out there seems to) Front wheel has a side ding. A great investment... You will never see these Stick Shifter bikes produced again and finding one that has been in long term storage is a rare find these days! ENJOY!
