Description: VERY RARE MRI DEMO/Test, a publishing company affiliated to BMI. Related to Mercury Record Corporation. Only one we've ever seen. It's hard to see, but under the labels there appear to be blank Mercury labels. On the front cover, Dick Campbell is misspelled "Dick Cambell", and there is an MRC stamp. On the back of the jackets, there is another stamp and "Our Mothers Children" written. Potentially a one-of-a-kind pressing, of a VERY interesting album! Dick is from southern Wisconsin, and had issued a few cool 45s already, including one of Wisconsin's greatest early rockers, "Greatest Girl" as "Dick and Roger". He went into the studio with Bob Dylan's backing band (Mike Bloomfield and The Paul Butterfield Blues Band) and cut what is often called "the sole masterpiece of the fake-Dylan field". Truly excellent Dylan style lyrics with incredible backing from Bloomfield. An excellent collectable for any fan of Dick or Bob Dylan!
