1965 Chevrolet C-10

Description: 1965 Chevrolet c-10 Short Bed Pick-up Truck This truck is my daily driver. Older Owned. Everyday I have people giving me high fives and thumbs ups. The reason I am selling this truck is because I am building a 1964 GMC short bed full lay frame with a 6.2 LS supercharged engine. Very expensive Frame up Restoration. The best part about this C-10 is that it runs perfect. Starts up everyday and you could easily drive it across country. Let me state some of the features of this beauty. 1965 Chevy V8 C-10 2wd short bed pick-up Truck with Big Back Window283 Chevrolet small block engineCalifornia Truck Originally and I purchased in Eastern MontanaOriginal 2-Tone Yellow and White TruckInstalled Original date era Wheels and Tires. Goodyear Wide Whitewalls 6.70/15 Tires and Had the Factory wheels Powder Coated to the original white finish. New valves in the wheels. $2500.00 I had the engine completely disassembled and put New Valve cover Gaskets. Oil Pan Gasket. New fuel Pump. New Electronic Ignition. New Carburetor. Air cleaner. New Wires. New Radiator and thermostat. New belts and hoses. Complete engine has been gone through. Runs super strong. Dual exhaust. B & M Shifter with 3 speed transmission. Shifts Perfectly. Spent $5000.00 on this invoice. I completely put in a New Factory Suspension. Removed upper and lower control arms and replaced all bushings. Replaced Tie Rod Ends and Ball Joints. The factory steering box is still in the truck but we adjusted it to remove most of the play. The wheel still has about an inch of play. I replaced the Universal Joints and Exhaust Manifold Gaskets. Spent $2750.00 on this service. Interior has all original GlassNew mechanical choke put in. Just pull the choke for a minute and then push it back in and ready to drive away. Bench seat was newly reupholstered brown before I purchased and has excellent springs and very comfortable.All gauges work High beams and driving LightsHeater Blows Hot and The Fan and defroster work greatDrum Brakes at all 4 and Brakes have all replaced. New Brake Lines too. New Oak Bed Installed and cleared to a natural Color. I would say this truck was an older restoration. Paint is good with some clear coat lifting on the white of the cab some. The Body is good. No accidents. There is some bubbling in the normal troublesome areas that should have been metal patched. Good Floors. The good part is these repairs if wanted could be done easily while still driving this little Gem. Tailgate has white letters and the original chains painted white. There is nothing alarming with my C-10. If you are looking for a Show truck this is not it in the condition its in Now. If you are looking for an amazing daily driver and hit some car show on the weekend that is what I do. Have fun with the family and enjoy your weekends. The truck sits perfectly level and all original springs in it. Something about the Yellow/White two Tone that has people stopping in their tracks.
