Description: Offering for a Pontiac V/8 engine a reconditioned standard distributor for 1962 through 1973. Standard points style not for T.I. or Unitized ignitions. I took from a 1962 Grand Prix and sent out to be reconditioned in 1992, yes 1992. I was to use it in my 64 GTO but decided on Transistorized. Has Echlin HD points, Echlin condenser, Accel weights and springs. new lead in wire., Aftermarket distributor cap, rotor and vacuum advance. Included is documentation from shop. Already dialed in on a Sun machine and ready to drop in. That's the only way I ever set them. Yeah. 32 years in storage goes fast. BTW lately sold GTO after 48 years!
