Description: Offered up for sale is the pictured new an open box 1960s or 70s vintage Wilson 1010 official major league baseball. That being said, this is the civilian version, not one used by major league baseball. These balls were sold to kids as keepsakes, souvenirs or for daily use. This ball shows plenty of evidence of being held and fingered and tossed in the air to oneself, but shows no evidence of being out on a baseball field. There’s no dirt marks or impact marks from baseball bats. It comes with an original period correct box. However, that box is damaged from opening and is sold as pictured as is.
