Description: Nice 1959/1960 Shakespeare RH400 vintage semi-recurve bow-- 64" AMO length, 43#@28" draw weight (marked 45#, but scales 43#@28"), right-handed. Maple riser and limb cores, brick-red fiberglass on back and belly sides. There are stress lines in the fiberglass (see pics, fairly common on vintage bows), but they do not affect shootability. I recently refinished this bow with 5 coats of Minwax wipe-on polyurethane. I just put on a new skived leather grip, leather shelf plate and strike plate. The bow strings up nice and straight (no limb twist). Draws smoothly out to my 30" draw, and is a nice quick shooter. Comes with a good B55 Dacron endless-loop string.
