Description: This is a SUPER RARE 1959 Philco Predicta TV (Debutante model). They tried to predict what a television set would look like in the future, and actually came pretty close to foreshadowing a computer and monitor. The screen even swivels, a unique innovation then. It's missing a few parts, such as the antenna and electrical cord. The back has been replaced by wood. If you're electronically inclined you may be able to restore it to working order, or it makes a really cool display as it is. I think it might have been used as a TV or movie prop. There are very few of them around today. It's sold as-is, so please take a close look at the pictures. It is too heavy to ship, so it is available only for pickup in Eagle County, Colorado. Unless you can think of a viable way to get it to you.
