Description: Hello, up for purchase is a very nice 1950's pearl bead evening collar with rhinestone accents. These were popular from 1955 - 1964. They were worn over cashmere sweaters and round collar dresses to spruce them up for evening. This collar has beading in two sizes along with long skinny beads. It measures a petite 13 inches at the neck and is 1 /34 inches wide. It is gently scalloped. It's made by Top Hill Fashions and was made in Japan, where most pearls bead accessories were produced in the era. It is in very good vintage condition. It does show darkening of the beads due to its 60 year age. The beads now have patina and are a champagne beige. The backing fabric is white satin and also has darkened from wear and age, though it is not visible when worn. Thanks for looking! Please check out the other items in my store.
