Description: Offered here is a well struck 1942 D GEM BU RED Lincoln Cent. In my opinion this is an exceptionally high grade coin, but you are the judge. You can not go wrong with this coin. Great eye appeal with a velvety lustrous condition. One could say almost proof-like eye appeal. Taken from my BU roll collection that I am passing forward to other enthusiasts. I stepped away from all collecting in 1984 and this BU roll collection has sat in a desk drawer much longer than that as I collected them in the late 1960s and early 1970 period of my roll collecting. I have many more to come as I reduce my collections into money to pay for my health insurance with it's ever increasing payments. These coins still look as new as the day they were minted. Please view the images I have included as it will hopefully try to show just what you will receive. My cellphone camera is all that I have to share the best images I can get. The high relief frosting and fields mirrors are very hard to get with my cellphone camera, I have tried 50 times to get it right. I hope that the images I have included will help you to see the great eye appeal of these coins! If you have photographing advice that may help me to do a better job of creating the most accurate image that my little phone can produce, I would be grateful. Coins are the only items that I have that are hard to photograph well. Please ask any item question you may have before bidding and I will reply asap. Items are shipped by USPS
