Description: This is the 3 cents SJ stamp, plus 2 x 1c definitives, I suppose SG 126, paying the foreign letter rate, here to Germany. The stamp is cancelled BELIZE 14 April 1936. There is a light strike of the EAT BRITISH HONDURAS GRAPEFRUIT cachet. There are no backstamps. SG suggest a cover factor of from x8 for the SJ stamps which indicates that correct rate covers are uncommon. The cover was neatly slit open at the top. I hope the general condition is apparent from the 600 dpi scan, but please do contact me with any queries. (my reference 1636) VATI am not registered for VAT and do not need to charge it.
