ONE 2 page letter hand written and signed by L. L. Leslie. ONE FABULOUSLY ILLUSTRATED BROCHURE for the DEER TRAIL LODGE. ALL FROM THE YEAR 1925. The content of the letter discusses ALL. The 2 page letter has normal letter folds and it has a few tiny bug holes and very tiny flawed edges (for the most part is in pretty darn good condition). The 2 membership applications are in pretty darn good shape, too, with very minor flaws. The 32 page brochure is in really good condition and has no writing in it. It is near mint. The brochure is fabulously illustrated with photo gravure styled images of the river, the valley, the hills, one of nature's amphitheaters at the lodge country, the water front, the old Spanish Trail above Kerrville, various scenes near deer trail lodge, the hunter's paradise, deer hunters with their catch for the day, turkey hunter, fish captures of the day, images of entertainment for the children, the club house and cottages, river scenes, woodland scenes, the golf course, el ranchito, the Guadalupe river, horse riding, hikers, hills, natural springs, swimming holes, Doc Stewart's school for coaches, Guadalupe falls, etc. Just fabulously illustrated with wonderful images. The names listed for the officers and directors are: Fount Ray as president from Kerrville, H.I. Gahagan as vice president from Dallas and he was with the Texas Electric Railway, W. H. Painter as vice president from Dallas and he was with United Fidelity Life Insurance Company, John R. Leavell as Secretary from Kerrville and he was the County Clerk of Kerr County. The advisory Board was: C. D Adriance of Galveston, Hugh Bass of Dallas and was with Dallas Union Trust Co., A. C. Bayless of Houston and he was with Bayless Insurance Agency, A. B. Burton of Kerrville and the First State Bank, E. M. Card of McAllen who was a civil engineer, Charles T. Davis of Fort Worth and the Rock Island Granitoid Company, Ross W. Davis of San Antonio and Farm and Ranch Loans, E. H. Prescott of Kerrville and the Charles Schreiner Bank, Roger C. Roberdeau of Austin and the American National Bank, and Joe C. Thompson of Dallas and Texas Power and Light company! The little white "ebay item" thing is just a loose piece of paper. Truly a RARE GROUP of Kerrville, Texas ephemera.
