This detailed narrative of the campaign is accompanied by 3 fold-out colour Maps: Strategical Map; General Map of the Advance of the Russian Armies; and General Map of the Advance of the German Armies, 2nd-14th September; and 11 fold-out colour Sketch maps, all at the back of the book.Mid blue cloth boards with gilt lettering on the front board and spine. A few minor marks on the boards. Ex-library book from the Officers' Mess Library of Blenheim Barracks. Foxing to endpapers, introductory pages and last page and map tabs. Front hinge slightly cracked but all pages are firm and the book is in very good condition. x, 306 pages. 22.5 x 15 cm.
