Description: For sale is an ultra rare 1914 Barber Half Dollar. The Barber Half Dollar ran from 1892 to 1915, and was a very popular design in that they used the same obverse for the half dollar, the quarter, and the dime in the same era. The 1914 is literally the rarest coin in the entire series because they only minted a mere 124,230 of them. It is one of the toughest Half Dollars to find out there. And like all Barber Halves this coin is 90% silver. As you can see from the pics the coin is in really good shape. The coin would grade as an upper G grade, very close to being VG. All lettering, date, and all stars are present and bold. The coin has no damage and it has not been cleaned. This is a very rare key date and a must have to fill gaps in a Barber Half collection. Thanks!
