Description: 1911 Slide and Thumb Safety Castings. You are buying the slide release and two thumb safety’s ones a standard size and the other being a shorty. These are castings made in L.A from a reputable caster. These require some work which is nice to allow you to fit them to your frame and at a fraction of the price. Fun and enjoyable and a chance to not mess up your part or a high dollar part. If your not willing to put in the time to fit these to your frame and do a little work please don’t purchase as mentioned there a casting and a great opportunity to learn. Now when complete and fitted these are what you’d consider a high end parts and I’ve polished a to out to have them TIN coated bringing top dollar. They can be fitted then bead blasted and cerakoted, polished out to a high shine or blued so there’s a ton you can do to them. The 1911 has several parts things most of the time fit or interchange or you must modify so consider this.
