Description: This is a vintage, Schatt & Morgan, single-blade Beautiful Worm Groove bone handle Gunstock pattern pocketknife. Produced in Titusville, PA, 1902 to 1928 only. It measures 3"in the closed position. Both the blade tangs are stamped, S X M Titusville, PA. (SEE PICTURES). Both the blades are near full and the master blade has a nice swedge or false edge and a long nail pull on the top spine. Both the blades have great snap with hard locking 1/2 stops that sit right in both the open and closed positions, with no play, tight and right! The handle scales are beautiful Worm Groove Bone (None Better,,, beautiful jigging) with absolutely no cracks or chips with brass liners and brass pins. It has a Beautiful Nickel Silver pinned Bar Shield. It has beautiful shiny front Nickel Silver Bolsters with no scratches or dings. This is a very rare and different Gunstock pattern, with gorgeous Worm Grooved bone now 100 years old. I am listing a lot more very rare and vintage knives from a 65- year -3 generation collection.
