Description: 18th Century Small 3.5” Antique Singing Bowl This is a wonderful 18th century antique Himalayan singing bowl. This is an extra small antique with a surprisingly deep tone and delicate harmonic overtones. It is beautifully crafted with tiny hammer marks and fine engraving. There is natural patina present and nice signs of age overall. It measures 3-1/2” wide by 1-3/4” tall and comes with a padded cushion and a felt wrapped wooden mallet. This singing bowl was collected and curated by Himalayan Bowls founder Joseph Feinstein. It is a genuine Himalayan antique, found at the source in Nepal. I personally selected this from the collection of Joseph Feinstein. Joseph has collected these antique treasures during several trips to the Himalayas between 2003 and 2015. He is the leading singing bowl expert and antique expert, having written several books on the subject. I chose this particular bowl for its beautiful tone. It is one of the finest small bowls I have ever heard. I am downsizing and will be selling many of my antiques.
