Please enjoy this Sefer, a piece of Norwich, CT Jewish history, and originally given as tzedakah to the Shul in Honor of those who came before us. Proceeds go to The Brothers of Joseph Library Project ***Good to Antique Very Good Minus. : The cover and spine look great. 2 of the corners have microbumps. The first page, as shown, is attched to an inscription page using Lineco pro strips. The edge of the first page has been shored up with a Lineco pro strip. The tippy top of the first page has a seperate ijnscription in tiny hebrew letters. The title page and copyright info page, back to back, look a bit spotty as shown. The rest of the pages are yellowing but very decent. One or two of the pages have a stain or spot ot two. P. 467 was torn and has been repaired with a pro strip. Notice p. 468 : Interestingly, that page was originally printed so that the corner is a little large than other corners and sticks out. it was printed this way - you have probably seen this before. So the owners have creased that corner down to prevent damage. it s a feature of this book, not a bug. (see photos). So besides the yellowing and a very few minor repairs, this is an amazingly well-preserved volume from 1891.
