Description: A circa 1890s pamphlet or brochure for Pears' Soap featuring Curious and Beautiful Optical Illusions. On the front is an illusion involving staring at the red Pears' text then at the ceiling. On the back are Strobic Circles invented by Professor Silvanus P Thompson. Inside is a variety of advertising messages. A very nice piece. About 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" folded. Good shape as shown with soiling and tears. Displays really well. The paper is not brittle. A wonderful piece of history and an awesome addition to any collection. I ship every day the post office is open with your item safely packed the way it deserves to be. I always combine shipping and will refund back any overage when you buy multiple items. Please see my store for more museum quality artifacts.
