Description: This listing is for an 1887 Morgan Dollar ANACS VAM-1A or VAM-25A Donkey Tail Variety. A wildly popular VAM variety. Originally this variety was classified as VAM-1A but was later reclassified as VAM-25A because research has shown this to be a late die state example of VAM-25, and thus it was classified as VAM-25A. PCGS still attributes these as VAM-1A where as NGC attributes as VAM-25A but they are the same break and same variety. All old holders from any service will classify it as VAM-1A. Please note some internal stress cracks on the holder. This is very frequent on ANACS coin but it is cosmetic only. The close up is from the actual coin you will receive.
