Polishing lines in upper hair curl, in curl near designer's M, in and near bear claw, D curl, and other areas of hair, as well as in Phrygian cap and in and near nostril. Nearly vertical polishing lines in LIBERTY. Reverse - Mint mark O set high and to the left with metal at the bottom of the opening. Polishing lines in bow, around upper tail feathers and near right leg. Metal and polishing lines in gap between eagle's neck and left wing. Clash of cap from obverse showing at right wreath.
