Description: I am selling a rare 1861 Indian Princess $3 Gold Coin. Only 5,959 of these coins were ever minted and many more have been melted down. Her bust is vaguely outlined, with some facial features faintly defined and most letters of "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" show. "3 Dollars" and the date are heavily worn on the reverse, but the date can still be made out with a good eye. The wreath still has some detail and texture and all of the reeding can be seen on the edge of the coin. This coin has been holed at some point, though it sits flat on a surface. Please use the pictures to determine the grade and feel free to ask any questions that you have. Will ship next day once payment is received. Check out my other coins for sale as shipping is free for multiple purchases.
