Description: Very early civil war era thermometer. Made by Charles Wilder in Peterboro, NH. Made of wood. Has decorative edges. Not 100% complete. It is missing some of the small decorative piecies like the ones missing from the left side . This has a wood stand-up brace, and under that is a label from - Alden & Brewster, Druggists, No 98 Main St., Springfield, Mass. It is 8" tall and 3 1/2" wide. Charles Wilder was also a make of Barometers. Very Rare piece.
